OEX Lightweight and Compact Phoxx 2 II. I primarily wanted a good quality small tent that would be easy and quick to assemble/disassemble and this certainly does the job. I only wanted a tent for myself only and even though I wanted a small compact tent, I opted for the 2 man instead of the Phoxx 1 as it's just big enough to sit up in, fit your bag inside and doesn't feel cramped. I'm sure the Phoxx 1 would have been sufficient but I appreciate the extra room whilst it still being compact. I would highly recommend this tent.

Great wee tent. I bought as a one man and very spacious for that. Seems very well made and thought out, easy to erect and pack up. Can't really sit up in it if you're 6ft+ but not that sort of tent.

A great tent that packs down pretty small... it's not a micro tent but perfectly serviceable to go on a bike or a paddle board and big enough for one person to fit in with all their kit. It is nice and low to the ground so great for a little bit of stealth camping and with access on both sides, it makes it ideal for pitching the way you around you want it without having to compromise which direction you put the tent up. Great price, great reviews online, totally recommend.

I recently embarked on a solo bicycle tour that lasted a few weeks, and I purchased this tent for the journey. It provided ample space for one person, and there was even some extra room to store all my gear comfortably. I doubt it would accommodate another person, but it might be feasible. Overall, it's a high-quality tent considering its price. It's easy to set up, taking approximately 5 minutes, and it performs well in rainy conditions. Additionally, it packs down into a compact size.

I had such high hopes for this tent, I'd read the great reviews and the potential pit falls and needed to decide if this tent at this price point could deliver. The only way to find out was to buy it and use it. It arrived on time from Black's Outdoors and was as described. Keen to use it I set it up in my garden where I discovered Pitfall No.1. It's a common complaint that the lower of the only two supporting poles for this tent is too long to fit the fittings without undue effort on your arms or the tent 👀😪. I forced the poles into their supports and all seemed well... (I'll come back to this later). I repacked the tent and went off on my wild camping adventure- which was awesome! I spent three days and nights in the Arrochar Alps and had a fantastic time. This tent stood up to over 20 hours of torrential rain where I was completely protected from the rain from above and an ever increasing soggy ground from below. I was super pleased. However, the stress on the inner tent stitching from the stress from the over-long lower pole - burst the stitching on the fine mesh/breathable section AND burst the seam between the waterproof base and the breathable upper where all of the stress points meet. This isn't a one off issue. I read many reviews complaining of exactly the same issues on all of the commercial sites that sell this tent. I took a risk and hope that OEX had listened to the feedback of their customers and end users. I hoped for better. I loved this tent for its bad weather performance. But I had to take a needle and threat and use Gaffer tape to survive my three day adventure. I don't think this is good enough. A tent - even at this price point should survive more than one outing. The materials are GREAT. The construction let's OEX down and as I said, I'm just one of MANY disappointed customers. I would send it back for a refund EXCEPT I'm too late. OEX made their money. Why should they care?
